Civics

**This course is required for graduation**

This course is designed to cover varies reason for government, exploration of what it means to be a U.S. citizen, the implementation of the Constitution with the rights/responsibilities granted, the national government, the law, and the varies other government around the world.

Objectives:

  Students will investigate and understand Civics with the disciplines of history, geography, and economics

*  Student will compare and contrast the scope of power and interaction of the local, state, and national systems of
    government

Students will investigate the dynamics of political parties of the U.S. Government

*  Students will research and draw conclusions on current issues that are being present for legislative or judicial
    consideration
