Current World Affairs
Current World Affairs
will explore issues that involve the nations of the world while looking at the
people and elements involved in the political arena. You will be studying from
a variety of sources. This class will use television, internet, computer
software, Channel One News, and Newsweek and Upfront magazines.
Students will:

the priorities that different nations and cultures have in regards to their
place in the world

Research the political ramifications of government programs and world
organizations
*
Review historical relationships in order to form conclusions on foreign
policy
*
Develop
positions regarding controversial issues current in global affairs and issues.
