This class is designed to cover various types of governments, political systems, economics, individual rights, current events/issues, domestic/foreign politics.  We will discuss how each of these affects you and the world around you. 

Objectives:
* Students will investigate and understand U.S. Government within the disciplines of history, geography, and economics

*  Students will compare and contrast the scope of power and interaction of the local, state, and national systems of government

*  Students will investigate the dynamics of political parties of the U.S. govt.

*  Students will research and draw conclusions on current issues that are being present

    for legislative or judicial consideration
